Kim has been a student of fitness for over 20 years.  In August of 2011, she left the corporate world to take time out for herself to rebalance and regroup, never realizing she was undertaking a healing journey that would revolutionize her life.  Upon that journey, Kim became a yoga instructor and Reiki Master, completely changed her diet, got off all medications, lost over 25 pounds, took up running, and truly connected her passion for fitness with the piece missing for her – the mind, body and spirit connection. 

 

Today, Kim combines her love for holistic health and wellness to help others ignite their own spark for their personal healing journey.  Kim is passionate about helping others in similar situations transform their life through self-discovery, personal empowerment and the mind-body connection.

My name is Maria Rosa. I am an American College of Sports Medicine certified Personal Trainer since 2001. I am also certified in Basic Nutrition and Zumba.   It has been my passion to help people not only to tone and lose weight, but to give them the confidence and strength to overcome any obstacles they may face throughout their lives. I also teach Body Sculpting and Zumba classes at Studio Exhale and corporate classes.

Description

  • Basic Vinyasa – This class will work on fundamentals while connecting posture with breath to create a fluid sequence.
  • Yoga 1-Ideal for new students as well as seasoned practitioners.  Class will include foundational poses, connecting breath & movement as well as relaxing the mind, body and spirit with meditation.
  • Open – This class will work on fundamentals while connecting posture with breath to create a fluid sequence. Student should have at least 6-8 classes experience.
  • Gentle – Find relief in this gentle class that focuses on nurturing, supporting, and relaxing the mind, body, and spirit.
  • Slow Flow - A slow flowing class suitable beginners and students who want to explore flexibility and relaxation, ending with restorative postures and meditation.
  • Candelite Flow – Experienced-Intermediate student; Athletic-dynamic flow class designed to physically challenge and mindfully awaken the energies. Moderately heated (not HOT).
  • Intro to Yoga – Open to all; Class will include breathwork, alignment, foundational poses and deep relaxation.
  • Therapeutic - A therapeutic approach to yoga postures and breath helping to align the physical body and reduce muscular imbalances. Good for those with injuries or chronic pain. Restorative, meditative, rejuvenating.
  • Zumba – Fun, easy to follow dance steps with latin and international music.  JOIN US ON THE THIRD WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH FOR GLOW ZUMBA 6:15-7:15PM
  • Sculpt – A body sculpting class to tone upper and lower body using light weights. All levels welcome. Bring mat, 2 Ib weights, H2O. Wednesday’s 6 pm sculpt will follow Yoga Stretch.
  • Morning Yoga Flow-  Awaken the body with a Vinyasa connecting breath with movement, we will build strength and flexibility with longer held poses, attention to alignment, and some core work.
  • MBSR- Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
  • FULL MOON YOGA – the full moon is a wonderful time to shed and release all the things that no longer serve us, as well as a time to connect with, nurture and support our intentions.  Come flow and salute the moon and allow her energy to awaken our souls and embrace our divine power within.SPEAK *MOVE*RECEIVE
  • YIN YOGA- a wonderful balance to a yang practice, this class is slow, meditative and relaxing.  Most of the class is done on the floor, holding postures for 3-5 minutes.
  • Journey Dance- a freestyle type of movement, dance and expression, everyBody Welcome!
  • Fluid Movement – a gentle alternative to exercise, move like water. set to oceanic music with a gentle pace, get out linear, repetitive patterns and be guided to move in circles, spirals, figure 8′s w/ your whole body.  
  • Forrest Yoga – created by Ana Forrest is designed to address physical and emotional stresses and challenges held in our bodies. Strength and flexibility are not a requirement to do Forrest Yoga.  All one needs is a willingness to breathe deeply, feel fully and listen carefully to what our bodies are telling us.

 

Lori Turchetta

Lori is a certified hatha yoga instructor. She completed a 200 hour teacher training in the Kripalu Tradition in 2009. Lori has a passion for teaching beginner and therapeutic yoga classes. She believes yoga is the place where mind, body and spirit come together to create a moment of peace in a hectic life.

Lori loves teaching yoga, especially introducing beginners and the fearful to yoga’s holistic and therapeutic benefits. She creates a warm and welcoming space for her students to thrive. Lori is committed to meeting her students where they are. She can always be heard saying “Listen to your own body.” and “There is no pain in yoga.”

Lori is always grateful and thankful to all her teachers, friends and family for their guidance, love and support.

Diana Kaian, is a Certified Zumba® Instructor and has always had a passion to dance and to be in shape! She was introduced to Zumba® fitness over three years ago and was determined to get certified to teach her own Zumba® fitness classes. Diana became certified in March 2010 and loves every moment of teaching! She also enjoys being able to help others feel great about themselves. Zumba® is for ANYONE and EVERYONE!! Join her on the 3rd Wednesday of every month for our ZUMBA GLOW PARTY!!
